Quick note.. Starting tonight you will see changes on this forum. Starting from the deletion of the debate forum and Vents. Both of these will be merged in with General Disscussion. Doing this to get rid of excess forums, and seeing as both of those forums aren't used often..
The reasons for the changes are that we did a test data transfer to the new forum and it works.. minus a few small bugs that Alison figured out right away. So to save time we are doing changes on here so when the transfer takes place... I wont have to change stuff on there.. Less downtime for you guys then.
As well Cheezmatt is our new admin, taking over for Exor who sadly stepped down.

Ah, okay. Always sad to see changes, but as you point out, there's not much point in a mostly unactive forum staying there when it's just more work for you guys, and you can still do your modding thing in General anyway.

Hopefully we can get the forum all neat and tidy before the transfer over; trim off a bit of the fat and what-not. I doubt losing the Silver Member section will be a great loss. Not that I felt it promoted Elitism too much, but it certainly was waste of time having a 'private' section for older members that was never bloody used anyway. We should all be on the same level of involvement and discussion - except for the ADMIN and MOD areas of course (where we bad mouth everybody and laugh at you all, ha!).

Yeah so I didn't delete Vents and the other one as I was planning.. Instead I made them subforums in the General chat... which still allows seperation, as well as tidy's up the main page.

There have been a few changes to forum titles and re-writing of their descriptions, by no means complete or set in stone as they're still subject to Chief's grammatical scrutiny... hehe okay I couldn't say that with a straight face. Seriously though, superficial changes like this are just to give as good a first impression as we can to newcomers.
