So all of you are aware by now that Rocky will be stepping down and giving ownership to me. As well, a lot of you know, at least those who I talk to mostly, that I do not know how to run a website. From HTML, to whatever else is needed. Because of this I thought it best to drag in some outside help to get me started and going. My outside help as you all saw it was a member called Pus. Now I am making this public, and explaining my self a bit on this issue, as to avoid any... Drama that might occure from it. Although already talking to a few of you, including some who I thought would have the largest problem with it.. They all seem to agree and by fine with my choice.
Truth be told Pus is the original owner of FUS, the owner before Rocky. Sonique, or Alison, or Quex, however you know her by. the reasons why I went to Alison is simple. I don't know sites, I don't know the inner working of FUS, she does. Now I will state that I went to her asking for help, not her comming to me saying "Hey, I can help you!". I pretty much had to beg her to help me out because she didn't want people thinking that her showing up meant that she was taking some control, or whatever. Thats why she used Pus and at first only the admins and mods knew of this.
Reasons why I didn't go public saying I was getting her help right away, well... I was being handed FUS randomly, and was a bit cought off guard. So my first plan while doing a take over was to figure my junk out, keep any drama out of this, as not knowing why I was getting ownership in the first place, and get it done as smoothly and simple as possible.
During this period everything but the site theme (colours and shit) is planned to be handed over to me, including a new web host and... Well everything. No third party stuff, no "oh someone has the rights to this part" nothing. All in my name minus the design of the site. And guess what, this includes our old domain. www.satamsonic.com. My plan was to use both domains and just ghost one over to the other, atleast for the rest of the year. Then switch over to one domain.


Now... Alison is only here to help me out as a friend. Transfer some stuff, teach me a bit about HTML, the site, and other junk so I can get it running nice, and thats it. Then she is gone with a big thanks from me.
If anyone wants to get mad at me for bringing Alison in here, well... Feel free. But its no one elses fault or idea. I had to ask her for help on the site, all so I can make this work properly. Nothing will be in her name, she won't have access afterwords to bugger stuff up, and after everything I will have FUS in my name, no one elses.


When I figure out more I will let you all know, such as a date on when we will switch hosts, as well as if we do end up doing a data transfer of this board into a paid for legal running (and hopefully less hassil) Invision board. But that will only b done if I can get a full data transfer. I belive the most you will have to do is to put your avatar back up, and re-make your password. It'll reset those I'm sure.


Anyways there you have it, the plans of so far. If anyone honestly has a problem with this please make it clear, and I will work with you all so everyone is happy.

I'm just basically going to transfer the board and I don't even need admin access for that (at least not on THIS board, if I'm going to install techie stuff on the new board, I'll need it). Sorry but when Chief came to me I said I'd help only if people didn't know it was me. I was actually trying to PREVENT drama for once

I have no beef with anyone. Plus its good that you are getting help from someone who can appreciate the community and knows what they are doing at the same time.
On a side note its kind of cool to have the original creator back even if she isn't staying. So nice to... meet you? Or well um welcome back!

Well... Apparently, one bonus for being out of the loop for the most part is that it means that I really don't have much of any reason to have much of anything against anyone here...

I wish I could be of help, but I really only know enough about computer stuff to do some web surfing, check my email, play a few games, and work on the word processor now and then.
