It's about this demon god named Chojin where every 5000 years he appears in the body of a man as he wants to unite the worlds of man-beasts, demons and humans (Our world) to create a world of chaos. A man-beast goes after this creature who will possess a college student and kills lots of perverted demons to get to the Chojin.
Very nasty, explicit and ultraviolent anime movie with scenes of rape, gore, exploding heads, masturbation, bisexuality, mutilation, graphic demon changes, naughty tentacle doings from demons, sex and every excess you can imagine. This movie was clearly responsible for hentai and it's like 1985's cult Italian horror movie "Demons" and "Hostel" meets "Caligula" and "Akira".
Definitely not for children or the weak hearted.

From Wikipedia: With the exception of characters and certain plot elements, the anime and manga versions of Urotsukidoji are very different in terms of plot and presentation. The tone of Toshio Maeda's manga is much lighter, with an emphasis on comedy and the bizarre. There is very little violence against women portrayed in the manga and most "rapes" are portrayed more as seductions in which the female characters end up preferring the monsters to "real men." The demons are also mostly reptilian in nature. Few deaths occur in Maeda's manga as a result of sexual encounters. Those that do occur usually happen to men who are seduced by Megumi; Amano's lusty sister who destroys her lovers when she reaches orgasm.
Hideki Takayama's adaptation of the manga, on the other hand, features violent, malevolent rape scenes sometimes ending in death, with comparatively macabre monster designs. Elements of horror, and slasher films were used extensively.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, the plot is slightly diffrent, in the manga, Amano Jyaku (the main character) is a demon-human hybrid who has been banished to Earth for his great misdeeds, while in the anime, Amano is instead a "Man-beast" who was never banished, Every 3,000 years the realm of humans is united with the realms of the demons and the man-beasts by the revival of the Chojin, or rather, the Overfiend.
Anyways, an interview with Takayama as to why he chose to make it so offensive, he said : "There is nothing that arouses a stronger response in human beings than either sex or violence. A mixture of the two is very powerful indeed." That's pretty messed up
It's so sick, it makes the South Park movie look like a rated PG movie to the horrible tentacle rape of this movie, it gave anime such a bad name, you wish it would never exist......
It's also true, be it a bad thing or not. That's why the porn industry is so large, and why modern movies have so much more "action" than the old black-and-white ones where all they did was sit around a dining room and talk about some person's affair, rather than show it.
Yeah I agree that it's sick, but let me annotait that quote for ya
"There is nothing that arouses a stronger response in human beings (pocketbooks) than either sex or violence. A mixture of the two is very powerful (at extracting money) indeed"
People talk about it, people get curious, people watch it to be outraged. This in addition to those *relative* few who actually genuinely enjoy it.
So in the end, the best way to "beat" the creators if you want is just to ignore it. Kick back and have a soda if you will. Like a nice
...Maybe that is the whole recipe of life, is to be in on the joke. Because life is a joke and if you're not in on it you're out.
But if you're in on it, you can make it." - Vincent Price
"This sounds like something I'd HATE! Let's go see it!" The only excuse for this kind of logic is stupidity.
What about morbid curiosity? Or not wanting to rant about how much it sucks until you actually see the damn thing? Those things may be silly, but I wouldn't really call 'em stupid.
