@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

In one of the first episodes, I think it may even have been the pilot, we see Robotnik on a transport when the swatbot pilot announces, "Now arriving on Planet Mobius."

The clear implication here is that prior to that moment, Robotnik had been off Mobius. This means he had the means to travel to other worlds and that he had dominions on other planets...or at the least a vacation home. So, what became of this interplanetary empire? How would the series have been different if the FFs had been part of some Starwars-like Rebellion?

Well they might have been following the notion that in at least in sega CD Robotnik had dominance over the moon, or he might have been on one of his space stations.
Heck he could have been on the death egg and it never got a chance to make an appearance due top SatAM's cancellation

This is in the Pilot.

I refer to you: 'The Pilot". With Pink Sally and Sonic 1 Enemies.

Understand where I'm coming from with this?

Indeed it does, even if it is a pilot with not much connection to the rest of the series it makes you wonder if Robotnik had other places under his control.

Would you believe I never noticed that? And i've been watching all my SatAM episodes too. I suppose I always thought that was more about the setting than anything and never let it bother me. As for Robotnik having space satelites and such, Remember that in Harmonic Sonic (arguably the worst SatAM episode) Robotnik had just launched Sky Spy. So it suffices to say that even though he had the technology, the thought of interplanetary conquest must have slipped his mind. Perhaps he was having so much trouble holding down Mobius, he didn't want to spread himself too thin by conquering another world. Or maybe, he was simply waiting until he had established complete dominion over the planet before moving on. Now that would really be scary. Could you picture Robotnik landing here and taking over?

Since it was the pilot, I will also assume the events in it did not really occur in the series (Because he was there in Blast to the Past, and I'm assuming the first part in the pilot was him first arriving there, know what I mean?)

But let's assume the pilot was true, and Robotnik was arriving there.
My guess would be he was going from planet to planet, taking over as he went, and Mobius was his next stop.

Just my 2 cents. Love to hear more thoughts.

Any planet with intelligent life will put up some resistence hopefully. Unless you get a passive race. Lets speculate all we want. In a positive way, maybe it will stir up someone's imagination or ring a bell.

Planet mobius is suggestive but it also might have been the robots 'technical' way of saying it. Robots don't say Earth or Mobius like we do because it wouldn't sound robot.
