@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Yes, I do think chief is overreacting a bit, but only to an extent. If you want to be part of a community, you have to follow its norms, and not making one-word posts with stuff like "lame" is one of them.

You're over-reacting to nothing. I voiced an opinion. You didn't like it and tried to call me on it. I don't like being told how to think so I made a smartass comment. What do you want me to do? Kiss your butt every time you gripe about something I've written? And trust me you've been on my case ever since I started posting here. You're a fucking control freak and you don't like me because I said I didn't want the Sonic show to be made in Canada. That's right I know what really pisses you off. You're a damn infant! You drive people away who might actually be more interested in Sonic if not for FANBOY PROTECTIONISTS like you.

For your information, CHIEF, I never came here asking for people to care who I was. I always said I was planning a PITCH I never said I was absoloutly positively no doubt in my mind going to make it. You got hysterical and thought you'd act as the UBER_PROTECTOR of all things Sonic and you're doing it again! Looking for an enemy where none exists.

Go ahead. Enact your internet ultimatum. I don't care because I have a real life outside this place. You sir ( or ma'am ) have no sense of humor and you can't stand not to be the center of attention. Kick me off the board if it makes you happy. Then you can do what you're really good at and that's taking the COWARD'S way out, because you can't win this argument with logic or reason. Then you can go ahead and re-edit this post so it appears like you've won a petty little argument YOU started.

I'm a fanboy? Hahahaha... Oh god.. Hahaha... And... I don't give a shit if its made in Canada or your ass, cause... I don't like Sonic. Ive said that many times on here. So Fanboy? No.. So Uhm.. Okay, lets go again other points you made.
Not making it in Canada? Okay who cares? I don't. Uhm.. That doesn't piss me off cause.. Hey, I'm no Sonic Fan ohhhh. I liked SatAM for its plot and other characters. That is about it.
Okay uhm.. Me wanting power or some shit. Uh.. I'm quite laid back on the boards.. I'm pretty sure if you ask anyone else they would say so.
Outside life? Well lets see... For one, I am a man. After that I am a 21 year old. I am a father of a 2 year old girl. I work at a garage doing general random shit, and get a long great with everyone there. Enough to get free prawns from customers sometimes. Annnd.. I just got back from a pub with some friends of mine. So if I have no life.. You must be really screwed.

Oh Oh! I like this one! "UBER_PROTECTOR of all things Sonic and you're doing it again!" First of all... Since when was I Uber_Protector of a character I don't like? Or sorry.. "All things Sonic" Uhm.. Well... Okay, since when was I some ass wit protector of that? And just how am I doing this again?

As far as I can see, you were from the start some whiny ass prick who bitched at me for moving topics. Hell you caused a whole topic to blow up cause you called me some shit or another out of your cry baby stance.
Somehow I doubt you have any friends. But arguing over that on the internet is like trying to beat anything into your thick skull.
I have better things to do, like drink some more Heineken, and play another round of pool.

Anyways, I'm done, your gone, good times to be had. Oh and hey, go right ahead and continue this, find my email, bitch, whine, and whatever else you wanna do.

Thanks, I was just about to post that. Reading comprehension, people!

Let's bring this back on topic, ja? I thought it was kind of cute — maybe a little too cute for my tastes — but the animation's pretty decent for an amateur fanwork, so that's a plus.

I never thought I would see the Japanese interested in SatAM. That was cool to watch, and I also like the cuteness in it as well. Sure, it may be a little too cute for my tastes, but it's still very cool.

I'm sure I'm right in guessing this whole 'messy' business above isn't an April Fools Joke.

Scooting right back on track, how seizure educing are those opening titles!? Have to say the concept of a Japanese SatAM is quite intriguing, even if it is only fan-made… just wish I could get further than the aforementioned titles before I start shaking violently at my computer desk.

Chief is a moderator here for a good reason. Just because you claimed to be from the professional animation world does not mean that you are above the rules of proper conduct.

Again, grow up you stupid cunt. This, together with you going around fandom communities going "LOL I MAEK REVIVAL SHOW!11" is why you are disliked so much. Where the fuck did that reasoning come from?

Actually nobody gives a shit. You came here pre-emptively demanding respect, but you treat us by dangling your sorry bastardized excuse of a SatAM pitch above our community like we're dogs for you to tease. Like I said before, if that is how you are going to act everytime people gave you criticism, you can go shove the pitch up your arse.

Projecting much? If you count going around communities to make false promises of a revival show as having a real life, you might have a point.

Chief isn't the only one sick of you. I am sick of you, all of my friends are sick of you. The only fans you have attracted to this community are the vapid retards who can't type worth shit. YOU are a detriment to this community, not an asset. You are a whiny cocksocket who can't handle even a little criticism. You promise a lot of things, and yet you delivered nothing worthwhile while treating the lot of us like dogs. You claim to be a professional, but your skill level and attitude betrays the fact that you're just another starry-eyed fanboy like the rest of us. You honestly think that working on the animation aspect of FAMILY GUY is anything to be proud of and thus elevates you above the rest of us? Congratulations, you've worked on a Simpsons ripoff with horribly stiff lifeless animating. *golf clap*

In short, you suck as an artist, you suck as a person, and you're nothing more than a Sonmanic-lite. Go cry into his soiled babyfur diapers and fuck off.

As for the animation- I like it, I'm not all that surprised that there is a small number of Japanese fans who read the comics, we read fan translated manga (well... I do X3 ) not surprising it sometimes happens the other way around (and I would imagine comics might be useful in learning english). The same with SatAM itself. I think it's overall an adorable work. The animator is obviously talented and didn't just crank this out but put effort into it, good stuff.

To Chief and MysteriousAnimatorX... can't we all just get along?

I'm going to be honest if I can be. I really don't know what you guys are fighting about, but this got to stop, alright.

This topic is about making a comment on the Japanese SatAM Version (Sure it is a fan project, but who cares), not like fighting over with each other.

I don't know what to say, but you guys need to talk about this in private, like sending each other personal e-mail message, or chat online (like twitter if you guys want to chat over there or not), and try to make a personal conversation and maybe try really hard to make it up with each other so you guys won't fight again, like try to fogive with each other or some sort, I'm not trying to do this just to make me feel good, just trying to help, okay.

That's all I can think of.

You know what I'm both curious yet horrified to see in anime?

Oh, sure you have to guess?

Robotnik. But I think the image will break my brain and to that crack music even more.
Eggman fits right in since that's were he comes from and his character has become a goof, but our Robotnik is very hard to imagine. Yet, I'm still a very curious fangirl that usually regrets being so. xD;

I feel like the Japanese wouldn't know how to write a SatAM story. The SatAM continuity has always been part of the American continuity, and I don't think the Japanese audience could relate to it.

Overall, didn't like the weird video. That's not the kind of animation and atmosphere that made SatAM what it is. American's wouldn't watch it (except those weeaboo kids I suppose.)

Wow... I honestly don't know what to say to that. That was so bright and happy! And so strange and weird! Such a possible waste of time! Now I'm gonna have that tune stuck in my head all day....

I'm sure if I knew how to speak Japanese I would understand it better, but as of right now I have no other constructive comments.

The Japanese writing style mostly starts off right in the middle of something. Just about any Anime or Manga out there starts off in the middle of action then explains what's going on throughout the show, unlike American writing which most of the time sets up the plot and characters before going into the action.

This seems to be more of a fan-made music video from some SatAM fan in Japan. So I don't expect it to make much sense or for it to seem very professional.

EDIT - I'm probably watching this video WAY too much for my own good, but it that supposed to be Lupe at 1:20?
