@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Japan likes to ruin LOTS of American shows! See?

I'm sure if you drop the 'underaged' part out of it, Val would be all over it in huge support.

The scary part is that it's canon. If it's just fan bullshit then I wouldn't care.

In the Japanese one it is yeah.
Well, from what I understand it's not technically incest because they made the girls not sisters in that series for that express purpose/making Buttercup's lesbian longings for Blossom *not* incestuous.

They're still underage though, so yeah, creepy show might be the first time a magical girl anime has been made more with the 30-40 year old otaku's in mind than the actual kids it's supposedly aimed at.

You do realize that if you're an avid player of any Sony PlayStation 1-3 or Nintendo games, you are consuming more Japanese culture than you realize?...

Oh yes, both are from japan. Very aware of it, lately I dont play too much of the nintendo or playstation 2. Never even bought a PS3 simply because I didnt want to shell out the cash.

Personally I don't really believe Nintendo ruined anything, I only have good memories when it comes to mind. Sony well.... thier business is in trouble. Hope they do something about it.

Fixed your post.

(Nah, I don't hate Nintendo, but if you develop for one of their systems, you kinda get fed up with them. Or at least I do.)

I used to know someone who wrote Powerpull Girls pr0n. He did Ed, Edd and Eddy crossovers with them, too. He thought he was being brilliant because there was no other EE+E lemon out there. It never occurred to him to wonder why, though.

I may have to take a sledgehammer to my curiosity for causing me to ask this... But... What's a "lemon"?

Originality is overrated. And I say this as a guy who is hoping to help revolutionize the gaming industry with new and exciting stuff. 'Cause it's not the "new" part that's important, it's the "exciting" part.

Well, that's also to be said about anything out there really. The real question is who does the better job at rehashing ideas.

Activison and EA are better rehashers than Nintendo.

They seem almost tied for "most prolific" at times but that doesn't necessarily mean better.
Case in point- EA's rehashes *always* feel like rehashes, they just ad the minimum bells and whistles to get people to buy the updated version.

Because America has never ruined any Japanese cartoons.

Has anyone ever seen the Saban Sailor Moon promo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B4_VCeHfjo

Creepy.

Nah, I'm just kidding, I know what you mean. It doesn't matter what country they're from, people with crappy/fanfiction ideas exist everwhere.

That Lilo anime looks horrible. Lilo isn't even in it(maybe that's a good thing) it's some girl named Yuna. Then again, the Lilo and Stich cartoon series was awful in America too. The movie was what we all loved. Not sure if it's a fair comparison.

PPGZ was awful too. They sucked the humor right out of it, I literally fell asleep through the first episode.
