@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Screw Attack Recently Reviewed two episodes of SatAM from a Gamers Standpoint-- and liked it!

http://www.screwattack.com/Random/SatAM1

http://www.screwattack.com/Random/SatAM2

Check it out! And as a bonus? "The Nostalgia Critic" aka- 'ThatGuyWithTheGlasses' ( Site Link ) will be reviewing An Episode of 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' and 'Sonic The Hedgehog (SatAM)' side by side, with an empahsis on why the later is better.

Score some more cred for the SatAM Side!

EDIT:

http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videol ... e-hedgehog - Critic's Movie. Yes. It's good!

Side by side comparisons to see which is better? That's just stupid - they're different genres. Like comparing Looney Tunes to fucken Batman.

^
Couldn't agree more with that; each one did their own thing and each did it with finesse. Apples and oranges and all that.

It's still pretty cool to see Internet figures as popular as the Nostalgia Critic talking about SatAM, especially in a positive light.

Does anyone know how many people know about this show still? How many won't realize how good it is? And to think there's some people out there who don't know the differences.

So we know for sure he's going to be positive toward SatAM? I heard that he says that on a transmission awesome or some other podcast but I've never heard it myself. I know apparently their was a swarm of sonic x fans on the NC forum crying out for SatAM's blood because they said it "took itself too seriously".
And yeah, they are apples and oranges, but I'll be interested to see if he can take into account their different goals and how they meet them.

Yeah Screwattack is pretty cool when they're not trying to appease fanboys (Halo in the top 3 FPS of all time? WTF) and those were some fun little commentaries, wonder why it took Studderin' Craig a while to warm up to Bunnie from all the characters? xD Nice to see the show finally getting some love now that the DVD has been out a while, though from the look of the DIC title and the selections/referring to it as a single DVD/not knowing which season the episodes are from I think the Screwattack guys got the single disc random episode collection from 2003.

Right, many people are not seeing how important this is from a fans standpoint .. two major internet personailites are about to pretty much say 'This show rocked over the other ones that tried to be true to 'SEGA' Sonic'.

Will it make SEGA Think about things? Probably not, but it may prove to them theres still a sizeable market for this stuff, perhaps.

That is awsome! I loved how they compared Sonic SatAM to Sonic X, saying that Sonic X's voice, was low, compared to Sonic SatAM's, which is cool

http://www.thatguywiththeglasses.com/vi ... gia-critic And it's out!

EDIT: Ok just watched it. Was a hard on AoStH (which I myself hated for a long time mostly because it was such a let-down next to SatAM, to me anyway) but he certainly appreciates the quality of SatAM, I think it just takes a certain mindset and expectations to enjoy AoStH.

Spoilerific talk.

Hahaha who wants to bet he gets hundreds of angry emails from Centaur furries now? I saw at least one crazily-obsessed Sally fan was on his boards, I wonder if that's where he learned about it/got the impression that she has a "cult" following? xD His worst criticism was the SatAM name I guess, but even then he realized why they had to make the distinction really. The name SatAM started out in dial-up days, I think my first instance of seeing it was in the late 90s, 98 or 99, so it was just a good shorthand compared to "You know that one that came on on Saturday." but you've gotta have at least one complaint I guess X3. Oop, gonna be late for class...

i've never seen the guy with the glasses. A bit annoying at times, but had some very funny moments in his review. Especially liked his take on Sally and the infamous "one eyed snake" line. These links made my day and were a lot of fun to watch. Makes me wanna break out the SatAM episodes ALL OVER AGAIN this weekend.

Haha, the screwattack reviews were funny and I'm happy to see they like Satam as well.
I hope that's there some secret SEGA guy on there and that he sees this and he's like "WE HAVE TO GET THIS SHOW BACK!"
