Oh wow.. How long did those take to make?
I was not tracking the time, but although this is only the first bracer, I'd wager each individual one takes about 12 or so hours per piece. In particular, the stamping clearly takes up much time, each strike usually taking up more more than one additional millimeter of space. The dying is a close second, requiring many layers, and some limited dye mixing and diluting with water, and application - waiting for it to dry, and brushing on more for some of the two-toned areas of the stylized flames.

Is it your own design, or part of a cosplay?
This is merely my own design, chosen for it's relative simplicity. As it was meant as a gift to my friend, a collector of all manner of action figures or figurative sculptures. I thought that perhaps something more archaic/basic in appearance - though with a modernized detail such as the stylized flames - would be most appreciable, as opposed to attempting to replicate this character's armor/emblem or that.
