Poking around aintitcool the other day I came across a bit of information no doubt quite stale to more devote Dr. Who watchers (ya there Prime?), the 11th Doctor has been announced as 26 year old Matt Smith. ( http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Matt_Smith ) He's no Tennant (maybe this'll free him up to play The Riddler? *crosses fingers in futility* ) from the look of it but I guess he'll do, I still think it would have been more interesting if they had cast a woman in the role. But oh well, we've seen an African American US President, not too out-there to suppose we'll live to see a female Doctor.

We're running out of regenerations, they better think of a way of getting more pretty soon. IIRC, Time Lords can only regenerate 12 times.

Oh come on, you think they can't find some way to jury-rig a longer length? They picked a limit at the beginning because the number seemed arbitrarily large: how could you possibly use that many actors?

too bad Tennant was doing an absolutely marvelous job as The Doctor. oh well here's hoping this new guy brings his all to the show ^^
