I've always held that he's a troll, this is just "phase two" since the old stuff wasn't working. (I mean look at the guy, his member title is "I don't think he's gonna stop."

And I'll put this bluntly.. Ive been drunk.. A lot. Ive been high as fuck. Ive been so fucked out of my mind on drugs and alchohol I thought shit was chasing me. But you know what? I have NEVER hurt anyone. Cause even if you are drunk or whatever you can still think.. And doing that shit with someone.. especially someone that young.. They deserve to die. I'm honest.. Being drunk or whatever is no fucking excuse!
If anyone out there is reading this and you get drunk or fucked up on drugs for whatever reason... No matter what you do it is NOT a excuse for anything.
Fucking sick

Plus, there's not really much physically realistic stuff in a Mortal Kombat game... Though, granted, an 7 year old against a 17 year old would allow for some of the throws... But unless they're martial artist and/or have access to martial arts weapons, it's more likely they just cooked up the story to save their own asses... It generally take someone who's severly mentally impaired (or very young) to try and imitate movies and videogames. A person in such a state of mind wouldn't have the attantion span to chase someone through a house and keep it up. The'd get destracted by something else (proby the pretty pictures on the screen again) and forget all about attacking someone.

One thing a parent could do to prevent this would be to explain that what you see on TV cannot be done in real life without someone getting hurt. But the child should be told this while young. At 17, kids don't want to listen to parents. IMO the parents should have been there to do something about this. THIS should not have happened.
As for the issue of blaming TV, Games, and the Internet for all the child's problems...not always a good thing. It can't be TV ect all the time. And even if some parents complain about the violence in the things children see, play, and click, then they should DO something to block these things off. Make it so that little billy can't see violence. But for the love of all that is good, DON'T try to make it suck for those who understand what is real, and what is a game.

Could you say that in your original posts then please, mate? Otherwise it just makes it look like you're posting morbid stories for no reason other than just to let us know a story has happened instead of trying to open up a reasonable debate.
Danke.

All alright. X3 But yeah people will use the excuse for anything they think they can get away with, like take a look at this BBC Article or here I'll just repost it.-
Elf defence for 'lingerie thief'
A man accused of a stealing underwear from a shop in a knifepoint raid believed he was a female elf at the time, Belfast Crown Court has heard.
Robert Boyd, 45, from Broadlands in Carrickfergus, is accused of holding up staff at the Orchid shop in Belfast disguised in a wig, hat and glasses.
He told the court he had been involved in a role-playing game at the time, and his character was an elf named Beho.
He denies robbery but says he may have blurred reality and fantasy.
He also said it "could be right" that Beho had intended to rob the shop - although he told the jury he could not remember what was going through his mind at the time.
He told defence counsel Anthony Cinnamond that within his small social circle he had been participating in a game known as Shadowrun.
The game was set in the future and the assumed characters were criminals, he said.
He told the court his character was a shaman, or magical elf, who carried a small Japanese sword as a weapon.
Mr Boyd, who said he visits a psychiatrist regularly, conceded that he "seemed to have blurred that line between reality and fantasy".
"I can't believe that I personally did that... and I deeply regret that.
"If I had sought some help I would've avoided that in its entirety."
Prosecutors claim that Mr Boyd knew "perfectly well" what he was doing on the day of the robbery and was "using this memory loss scenario to avoid answering very difficult questions".
The lab technician, from Broadlands in Carrickfergus, denies one charge of robbery.
He is accused of stealing two sets of bras, knickers, suspender belts and stockings from the shop on Lisburn Road on 14 December, 2005.
--------------------------
He was convicted of robbery, and although he "claimed to see a psychiatrist regularly" the two they brought in were devided, one thinking he might have disassociation with reality, the other saying he was full of crap. In other words another fail for "the game made me do it I swear" more info at http://www.theescapist.com
