@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

That is wonderful news to hear, I guess it wasn't as bad as everyone envisioned. Just a common error.

I'm sorry I can't seem to buy this. Where was the joke? How was this funny, or even affectionate? This just smells like damage control.

Viuely, SHHHt!

Stay on topic now. If Ian says "oh crap sorry mate!" which isnt done like that.. But either way. He said "oops" We say "cool"

Now you can debate the comic all you want. But inter board and "omg that liar!" fighting is not good here.

We don't feel Ian's going to listen because even if we did list our grievances, they are huge. It would be a giga tl;dr on epic porportions. Also, how do we know he's not just gonna block people from signing up? I don't trust this.

EDIT: And nuckles, you need to ASK for people's permission to post people's stuff on BK first.

No I don't. I said I'll post your criticisms over here. I asked you to post what criticisms you wanted me to send either here or in PM. As far as I can tell, Gothic's criticism was in reply to that. If it wasn't, I'll remove it, but since she hasn't said anything yet...

Hey Guys. I got a reply from Ian Flynn.

He agrees it was kinda wrong to lump all of FUS like that and he meant it in jest and hopefully won't do it again because, even I was kinda 'yeah...what the heck?' about that statement...., and he is going to rescind / edit out of said post, he also said ANY FUS'er that wasn't previously banned is ALWAYS welcome to join his forums and discuss things on the forum, as long as you obey thier rules.

~Rocky

Ian is known for pulling people's legs. Dubs and Toby can vouch for that.

You can go ahead and post my argument over there Nux, I don't mind....though just for future reference, I am male.
(also any luck getting me unbanned from SEGA for however it happened when I changed my internet?)

I would go there to show my complaints on my own but...I'm just too damn lazy to bother creating an account, blah blah blah...

I don't know where I get the idea that you are female....

No luck at SEGA, I regret to say. I still can't figure out which IP you share with a banned user.

Chief this is on topic. It was a part of the criticism discussion on Bumbleking. You can say cool all you want. EDIT: I'm just saying I don't think it was sincere. Oops. Haha.

You weren't saying that earlier when it I made similar comments in the topic. But I digress. Understand though, I've owned my statements and I asked Rocky's permission to do such yesterday.

And I'm saying don't make those assumptions. If it were other certain members of this board you would've gotten your head bit off for that. If I were you, I'd ask them to take it to PM to be absoloutely sure.

I'm not sure I really want to join. Someone's already debating people on behalf of their opinions and pro-Ian handling and its only page 7: http://bumbleking.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 3&start=90

...Like I said, didn't he just say you weren't supposed to debate?

I have challenged Ian to a duel--in Brawl of course. I hope he likes Meta Knight.

Edit: I also included numerous references to Palpatine in my profile, just to make sure Ian catches a glimpse of what a real villain is whenever he reads my posts.

Yes, and I saw it last night, and I sent him a PM about it when I did. I almost wanted to correct him in the topic because I knew it would be brought up, but that would run the risk of going against Ian's "no discussion" policy.

Ian hasn't been back since it was posted, either. He has always been adament about their being no discussion in his question and answer topic.

Yeah, your right. In the forum I administrate it's hard to get a lot of people to use PMs. The kids like to just post in the topic. I guess FUS is a more mature community.

So yeah, if you're too lazy to sign up, just PM me your criticisms or praise or what have you.

You're not helping your case, particularly with Toby and his relationship with this board. Personally I don't exactly trust Ian or Dub for personal reasons I don't think I'd be allowed to get into here. I've said about as much as I can say without dredging up private information or out of board issues. All I'm going to say is that both of them should know what they've done and fate will deal with them accordingly. But I wouldn't push it with Toby. :/ 'Specially not with Exor here .

Although Toby can be a bit of a meanie.

In any case, I think I'm done in this topic. If you got anything you want me to post on Bumbleking, just PM me.

I also find it interesting how he is asking for it now when there is plenty of critique available to read in this whole forum.

Ooh resent much? That's ok, I'll just give it to Exor or someone else on here, far be it from meh to request you do something you came and volunteered to do
I might/probably will try to register eventually but with validation it would probably take me out of the week this is being asked from.

If he meant it in "jest" that means he obviously comes here or at least should be aware that there is plenty of criticism to be seen here. My deal is, and what a CURIOUS question maintains is, why now? Why did he wait until 2008 to do this? I'm beginning to wonder if I should start questioning the comic's stability at this point. There's a lot of possible signs that things may not be going too well. And Ian just asking FUSers to come to his board to offer criticism out of nowhere despite banning some people from even joining kinda raises an eyebrow--maybe both. I guess even if he didn't ban anybody I'd still be like: WTH?

It took roughly only 12-24 hours after my registration to be validated. In case that helps.

You really are looking too much into that, I wasn't being "resentful". I was joking. It's something I do a lot. I haven't tried to say anything mean here .

Also, you don't NEED to ask it only during this one week . You can ask it for the entire month of December for which the thread is up .

And hey, even afterwards, you can STILL post criticism on the forum.

First I'm not allowed in, and then SUDDENLY I am at the same time he SUDDENLY just so happens to ask "FUSers" and people from another board to come, saying how many don't like his work (Not saying ANYTHING about anybody's feelings towards Ian as a person, his work soley) and then changing it upon request. I'm still affraid for those reasons that it may just be a hoaxing PR stunt, and I'm still considering whether to really engage in that forum at all. It's very likely we'll all just dump our opinions so he can say "SEE I 'listened' " with little to no changes in writing. Not saying this has to be the way it's going to be. However, dealing with a franchise that's pretty much fed me BS in every sector, I'm not about to go beleiving that a lot of the things I have to say will be listened to unless its about clearing the debris to a destination he's already going. What I'd like to see in the book is so different from what he's actually doing, I doubt it's worth the time even bothering. I'm not going to assume anything's bound to improve unless I see it in the book itself and whatnot. Anyone can blab about suddenly becoming open minded after a wave of criticism that keeps on growing. Again I've actually seen a number of "fans" (oh yeah..), writers, hell even SEGA pull the I-can-change card or some other form of PR that didn't change anything. Sorry if no one wanted to hear my skepticisms.
