The Rock has come back? XP

@  chief : (17 August 2019 - 02:26 PM)

http://www.sonicsatam.com/sea3on/ finally...

@  Wulfsbane : (17 August 2019 - 07:40 AM)

Good to hear.

@  chief : (13 August 2019 - 07:27 PM)

We are in talk with background artists actually...

@  Shadow : (13 August 2019 - 12:54 AM)

some traditional cel painted backgrounds would be lovely.

@  Shadow : (13 August 2019 - 12:54 AM)

Is their any plans on what might be added if the budget reaches a certain quota?

@  wildfire : (13 August 2019 - 12:05 AM)

Just saw the preview for Sea3son animated. It looks awesome! Voices are great. I only wish I had money to support.

@  wildfire : (12 August 2019 - 11:30 PM)

Glad to see this place is still bustling. I went through my old comics last night, made me think of you all. I miss this place sometimes.

@  Ishapar : (12 August 2019 - 10:39 AM)

Keep screaming, Redauthar.

@  Wulfsbane : (10 August 2019 - 05:27 AM)

I've been busy with work. A lot of OT recently

@  Shadow : (09 August 2019 - 01:06 AM)

I just don't have much to say.

@  RedAuthar : (07 August 2019 - 11:12 AM)

I must be a very loud person.

@  RedAuthar : (07 August 2019 - 11:12 AM)

On a different note. I've been using my phone to visit FUS for so long that I haven't used the Shoutbox in about a year. Still top Shouter somehow.

@  RedAuthar : (07 August 2019 - 11:11 AM)

Fixed it. If you use the full editor on a shout you can link the Video using text.

@  chief : (31 July 2019 - 07:00 PM)

though interesting fact...Kef is working on new forum software!

@  chief : (31 July 2019 - 07:00 PM)

It breaks it....

@  Wulfsbane : (28 July 2019 - 04:02 PM)

Hey Kev, please refrain from posting youtube videos in the box.

@  Kev : (28 July 2019 - 11:36 AM)

Sonic painting a picture, also have Tails painting in a much longer video on YouTube.

@  Shadow : (28 July 2019 - 10:06 AM)

The SatAM cast could easily be catered to as DLC characters for a game. The Freedom Fighter squad

@  Wulfsbane : (28 July 2019 - 07:27 AM)

SoJ also wants to make the games more platofrming, like Mania. Iizuka wants to keep it like Forces/Colors/Generations/etc.

I think Archie Comics decided the style was a little to mature for the intended audiance and that is why Conor Thomas didn't continue. I mean most characters were well put together but not really wearing anything.

Bullshit. They just wanted someone who can draw quick and shell out a quick buck.

I agree with Shadow. Its a shame Archie is settling for such mediocre illustrations.

BTW, there's something I've been meaning to ask. The font I used in this short is called WildWords and it's one I've encouraged Salamander to use for the main comic because it has an authentic all-caps look. Which do you prefer, this font or Salamander's?

I think I prefer WildWords. It looks like a better comic font.

You did? I can't remember. I'm using Komika text BTW. As long as it's readable and not Comic Sans it's all good to me. I can change it if people like the other font better.

There's no doubt Comic Sans MS is one of the most overexploited fonts in fan comics. Ironically, I do still use it for Rotor's *huff* and various other non-words in the comic. tongue.gif

Interesting look for Evil Robot Bunnie (ERB from now on), particularly that both her ears are pointed downward and that she has fangs. I wonder, Glitcher, if you designed this ERB to look like what you think a fully-roboticized Bunnie would look like, or if you designed it to be different in order to put the E in ERB?

Those ears really do give it quite the attitude. She just look absolutely 100% evil. And I know a few people have said you go overboard on your lighting (and that may be true on a few panels) but the lighting on that last panel is absolutely fantastic!!!

Heh, Bunnie's evil twin is officially called "Rabbot" on the script, but you can call her Evil Robot Bunnie or Not-So-Nice Bunnie or Bad to the Bunny for all I care. tongue.gif

To answer your question, this is what I believe a fully roboticized Bunnie would look like. Bunnie's lopsided ears appear a bit non-threatening, hence the change. I'm not really keen on Robians looking just like Mobians with metal plates, such as robot Sally in Sonic #29, so I wanted to give Rabbot a bit more Cyclon look like in the show. However, I still found Rabbot very awkward to design because every time I tried to innovate, she looked less like Bunnie and less like Robians in general. I kept the limbs similar to Bunnie's concentrated on the head.

Diffuse Glow is your friend. smile.gif This page was a pain in the ass to colour and I still think more care could have been applied to the drawings and layout. But the last panel was so frustrating to colour that I just decided to take the money and ru--... Uh, did I say that out loud?

I'll stick with ERB, thanks. ^^

Truthfully, I rather liked Sally's roboticized-look in #29, though I do think her colors should have been significantly more muted; then again, when a similar design showed up later in #51 under the manic pencils of Sam Maxwell, it looked like utter shit, so this was probably a good call on your part. SatAM's pretty inconsistent when it comes to the kind of change Roboticization causes in its victims, too; for every "Cylon"-looking one, we've got an Uncle Chuck:

where the change between normal and roboticized is significantly less dramatic. All things told, I think you struck just the right balance here, so good on ya. ^^

Fair enough. X3

Also, it finally hit me what's struck me as odd about ERB's look: with both ears downturned and what look to be enlarged eyebrows, she actually looks a bit like a robot version of Lopunny from Pokemon! xD.png
