To be fair, there are more rapid forms of communication these days. The Discord server sees a far bit of attention. I remember the IRC too, but that's dead last I looked

Do you think we will see a cameo appearance of a Sonic or other Sega character like in Disney's Wreck-it Ralph?

It's clear from the trailer than games from the 80s will only be featured. Being an Adam sander flick it might suck as well.

He's had some good ones.... Not recently though (except maybe Grown Ups)

Sonic's had enough trouble to have a cameo in a travesty like pixels.

It doesn't look like there will be more recent VG characters, only Pacman, DK and some other arcade classics like Galaga or something. It don't have high hopes for the movie after seing its trailer. Adam Sandler doesn't help it too.

 

I wish there was a Wreck-it Ralph-esque cartoon with Sonic/Sally/Satam cast cameos though.

It isn't from Smosh Games, but this "honest trailer" seems to agree with MovieBob's assessment...

Seems like Pixels is THE movie to AVOID this year.
