Is their any plans on what might be added if the budget reaches a certain quota?

@  wildfire : (13 August 2019 - 12:05 AM)

Just saw the preview for Sea3son animated. It looks awesome! Voices are great. I only wish I had money to support.

@  wildfire : (12 August 2019 - 11:30 PM)

Glad to see this place is still bustling. I went through my old comics last night, made me think of you all. I miss this place sometimes.

@  Wulfsbane : (10 August 2019 - 05:27 AM)

I've been busy with work. A lot of OT recently

@  Shadow : (09 August 2019 - 01:06 AM)

@  RedAuthar : (07 August 2019 - 11:12 AM)

On a different note. I've been using my phone to visit FUS for so long that I haven't used the Shoutbox in about a year. Still top Shouter somehow.

@  RedAuthar : (07 August 2019 - 11:11 AM)

Fixed it. If you use the full editor on a shout you can link the Video using text.

That's great news! But, will the animation style be the same as before or perhaps different? Like maybe 3d or flash? I guess we'll see about it.

Also, I really hope Huey, Dewey, and Louie won't become as teenagers again like that show Quack Pack. Remember that show everyone?

No one WANTS to remember that.

Most likely, if we're going by the remake of the NES Game, it'll be styled like the old show.

Honestly, I preferred their designs in "Quack Pack". They were easier to tell apart, and had different personalities. Having 3 characters that act the same seems like a waste of potential characterization. Even the 80's Ninja Turtles had some degree of variation between each one.

Despite that though... Holy cow! The show is not only getting revived, but the origonal one is being streamed on the Disney app. Sweet! I can't wait to watch both!

I think that's always been the whole joke. They're one character for the price of three.

Well for one, they are triplets.  Twins and triplets, specifically at a young age, tend to act similarly to each other.  Heck most siblings tend to have similar tastes and personalities.

But even in DuckTales and the Donald Duck Comics, each of them had a slight variant in interests.  While it would be interesting to see that play out, QuackPack proved it could be done very, very wrong. Differences in Personality does not make characters mesh well or even interesting, it's what they do in the show because of their personalities.

I understand that they're triplets, but even triplets don't behave exactly the same. They may share similar characteristics, but they also have additional traits which make them identifiable. When you have a total of three characters that take up most of the main cast, you'd think they'd behave differently to have some interesting interactions and share some sort of chemistry. Otherwise, you might as well just have one character interacting with himself the whole time. I mean, if all the Ninja Turtles acted the same way, what would be the point in giving them separate names, colored bandanas, or respective weapons?

On a different topic, does anyone see Alan Young returning to resume the role of Scrooge McDuck? They'll most likely find a replacement, but we know it'll be modeled after Young's performance. The guy's been voicing the old bird for over three decades.

June Foray is even older (by three years) and still does voice acting bits. But (say) Granny in The Looney Tunes Show is a small part, whereas Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales is the starring role. It'd probably be pretty expensive if something were to happen to him in the middle of the season and they have to re-record parts, and they'd need a back-up actor ready for such an event anyway. So I have my doubts it'll happen.

But who knows?

Yeah, but that's a much shorter gig than doing a whole season's worth of dialogue for somebody at the center of every episode.

True, but they've brought him back on several more occasions post-Ducktales too.

I guess they're gonna have to find a replacement.  What did he die from?

Chances are he wouldn't have been hired back. I doubt Disney would have bothered to try and hunt down the voice actors and just replace them with more current working ones. What I'm hoping for is it to be hand drawn animation, and not flash like everything else is these days.
