His work like Alice and Wonderland is really cheaply liberal, stereotyping Victorian sensibilities by making Alice a depressive 2-dimensional feminist. Burton really lashes into conservative/traditional values without really representing them properly and in their context. You should never misrepresent history and people of the past to favor your own point. Do not put words in the dead's mouth...This is vandalism of history to favor an agenda. Look at Micheal Bay's Pearl Harbor...ugh,...

Could be multiple things. You might enjoy deconstructing them and seeing thereby what makes a "good" movie good, and makes a "bad" movie bad. Or, you can might enjoy luaghing at them, the way I do with B-Movies.

I don't really laugh at them. So far, I've genuinely enjoyed: Batman and Robin, Felix the Cat, Star Wars Episode 1, Super Mario Bros and Scooby-Doo.
